Anxiety Relief

Stress related disorders have become a leading driver of personal disabilities worldwide. The main treatment for anxiety and depression has become antidepressant medications. But there are ways that may help without the effects of a antidepressant. It has been found that many forms of exercise, aerobic and non-aerobic, can be effective for some. Antidepressants remain the most effective and the most used, but is it worth trying other natural methods?

Having a routine exercise program can help in so many ways, but not all people are able to get to a gym or may not have access to exercise equipment. But a walk, pushups, sit ups are ways that does not cost anything. Some people have found yoga as a great method to help and can be done without any expense. We have evidence that yoga has mood enhancing properties, these properties have inhibitory effects on stress. Yoga can do so much for the body and mind, such as blood pressure, heart rate, cortisol, stress, and mood regulation, it may be worth a try for many.

If you are dealing with anxiety or depression, exercise may be a solution for you. What are you out if it does not help? Probably nothing but a step in the right direction of getting healthier. I would encourage anyone to get some exercise, any way you can.

Back in my thirties I was 275 pounds and was not getting any exercise. I ended up with diabetes and it forced me to get my life figured out. Today I am 56 and probably in the best health I have been in since high school. If I can do this anyone can.
